D%26amp;C 61:35 And let them journey together, or two by two, as seemeth them good, only let my servant Reynolds Cahoon, and my servant Samuel H. Smith, with whom I am well pleased, be not separated until they return to their homes, and this for a wise purpose in me.
(For LDS - In reference to D%26amp;C 61:35) What was this wise purpose that the Lord was referring to?
The wise purpose was to keep the two men together in strength to avert danger and perils that would face them. Both men, as it is today, provided a strong support system to one another in their preaching the Gospel.

Reply:I strongly suggest turning from mormonism. You've been deceived. Read only your Bible not the book of mormon or any other book. The Bible says:
And the LORD said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. Jeremiah 14:14
I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Galations 1:6-9
And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14
